Before we get started with this one, take a look at the chart below. It is a chart showing the last 30 days worth of action in Pura Naturals Inc (OTCMKTS:PNAT).If readers could show us a more uniform chart, we'd love to see it. Very rarely do companies gain across a period of 30 days or more in such a consistent fashion, and for us, this makes Pura an intriguing stock. What's driving the gains, and for how long is this precision run going to continue? Let's take a look. For those new to the company (and we are included in this category) it's a pretty eclectic offering. The company has two very distinct business arms – one that focuses on the manufacture, distribution and direct sale of a range of fly fishing products, and another that touts a revolutionary cleaning product rooted in a trade secret foam formulation. Again, if readers can show us a company that deals in just fishing products and cleaning foam, we'd love to see it.Since the end of December, Pura has put out three press releases, and these point towards a primary focus on the cleaning side of the company's operations. For that reason, we are basing our discussion (and in turn, interpretation) on this element of the business only, and disregarding the fly fishing products for now.So, what do the latest releases tell us about the company? The first one came on December 29, with Pura announcing that it is expanding product availability for its household cleaning range, with distribution in select Target stores within the United States. According to marketing material, the cleaning products are based in a proprietary foam technology. It's a trade secret, so there isn't too much information available on exactly how it works (red flag? Probably not) but we do know that it is formulated using plant-based ingredients, and made from renewable resources with no petroleum byproducts. Again we are referencing marketing material here, but reportedly, this composition allows for the absorption of grease and grime without harmful chemicals or the bacteria buildup common with typical household sponge products. There is a raft of information about the product line at the company's website here (not the one listed at the major financial sites – that's the fly fishing site), but to save readers time, it's basically a range of sponges altered slightly for use in different environments –kitchen, bathroom, skin etc. After the Target announcement, Pura announced the appointment of a new marketing firm, and gave markets an update as to which companies its products are currently in. It's not a bad list, including names like Whole Foods Market, Inc. (NASDAQ:WFM), Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (NASDAQ:BBBY), Meijer, Inc. and a couple of others. The third announcement, put out on January 13, highlighted a couple of new executive appointments – Derek Duhame, to Company President and Jeff Silver to Vice President Commercial/Marine Sales for Pura Marine.Of the three announcements, we think that the second had the largest impact on Pura's PPS. Before this release, many wouldn’t have been aware of the extent of the network through which the company's products are currently selling, and we think that this increased awareness served to buoy sentiment ahead of the start of 2017. The HR announcements have reinforced this sentiment shift, and pointed towards a strengthening of the sales push for the company, which should serve to increase topline near term.Pura isn’t generating a huge amount of sales, reported at little over $323,000 for the third quarter of 2016, but with the new management in place, and the Target distribution strategy, we expect to see some degree of inflation on this number as near-term as the end of this quarter. Cash isn't great, so we also expect a raise to fund this growth, but so long as management can limit said raise's dilutive impact on early stage holders, there's plenty of run room for this unusually uniform appreciation yet.We will be updating our subscribers as soon as we know more.
