Valmie Resources Inc (OTCBB:VMRI) has quickly turned into one of the most active names on the OTC Markets. The stock has been making big moves as of late and proven to be a great trader both from the long side and the short side. This comes as there are some big promo dollars behind VMRI with Small Cap Sentinel and Emerging Growth being paid $135,000 for dedicated emails on VMRI. After seeing triple digit moves in both directions, what's next for VMRI?Valmie Resources describes itself as “a U.S. company actively pursuing opportunities for the commercialization of leading edge products and services in the rapidly expanding technology industry. Valmie brings operating talent, tools, and leadership to emerging companies in these sectors, promoting industry awareness and developing economically sustainable partnerships while increasing shareholder value.”Valmie has received a Section 333 Exemption from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to perform commercial drone activities within the U.S. National Airspace System. With professional grade equipment and pilots, Valmie intends to use the exemption to commercially operate unmanned aerial systems for agricultural applications, search and rescue operations, power line and pipeline inspections, infrastructure surveying, and imaging to increase the effectiveness of data collection, storage, and analysis. The latest report from Small Cap Sentinel was titled "Safer on the Seas." Valmie and its joint venture partner AeroLift eXpress are targeting offshore oil companies with their drone technology. The Small Cap Sentinel report said:

AeroLift eXpress Express is already in talks with offshore oil companies about its drone delivery systems. These drones can save on costs compared to having a helicopter delivery or boat delivery over great distances. Their drones can fly in extreme conditions and if a drone has an accident at sea, no human life is at risk. For certain, Valmie and AeroLift eXpress are intent on creating a business model of uncommon proportion, led by those who cut their teeth in the rugged military setting and intent on securing their place in a fast growing industry while making commercial operations much safer on the seas.

The two partners unveiled their technology in May at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston. On August 15, AeroLift eXpress will be a guest speaker at the Hurricanes, Major Disasters, Coastal Protection, and Rapid Recovery Conference at the University of Houston. The major annual event is sponsored by the Texas Hurricane Center for Innovative Technology and members of the University of Houston Civil, Environmental and Industrial Engineering Departments. The conference is used to update the public, emergency managers and others who play a critical role in hurricane and other disaster preparedness roles. Presentations include preparedness, loss mitigation, evacuation, coastal protection, transportation issues, rapid recovery and new technologies that could influence daily municipal operations. AeroLift’s presentation will include descriptions of its military grade unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technology and the significant advantages that it offers over manned aircraft and during the critical hours following a hurricane strike or other disaster. The latest from Valmie is that "one of the projects under consideration is collaboration with an international contractor that supports major providers throughout Latin America. Following an extended meeting at OTC, the contractor’s president invited AeroLift to Brazil to discuss adding AeroLift to its portfolio to aid in the performance of a contract with a major oil and gas client. Valmie and AeroLift are also in talks with a Lagos-based company to perform pipeline surveillance and inspections." Valmie subsidiary Vertitek aims to be a major player in drone racing with Vertitek Racing. This new division specializes in fabricating and selling racing frames for the competitive drone racing industry.Currently trading with a market cap of $126 million, VMRI has proven to be a great trader for penny stock investors. For VMRI to keep climbing, the promo dollars need to keep flowing and VMRI needs to improve its financials by signing some deals and generating revenues. Currently, VMRI is generating zero revenues and posting losses. VMRI posted a loss of $83k in the latest quarter and $2.8 million in the prior quarter.
