NEWARK, N.J headquartered nutritional supplements maker Inergetics, Inc. (OTCMKTS:NRTI) announced recently that it has scheduled a meeting of its entire Scientific/Medical Advisory Board on November 20, 2014. The meeting will be held either in San Francisco or Oakland.
The emergent meeting by the advisory board will tackle any last minute issues that might have cropped up with respect to the development of its patented “proprietary line of natural Cannabidiol (CBD)-based nutritional supplements”, as a marketable product. The cannabis based drug maker hopes to take the product into the market by mid 2015.
Role Of The Advisory Board
The advisory board will be reviewing the final product formulation ahead of submitting the same for commencement of manufacturing. Production would be followed by dispersal of the same in Medical Marijuana Dispensaries. The meeting was convened by Carl Germano, RD, CNS, CDN, who serves as the Chief Science Officer for Inergetics, Inc. (OTCMKTS:NRTI).
As part of the last state due diligence, the advisory board is expected to visit dispensaries and investigate how the drug extraction facility is currently occurring in the HEMP industry. Further, the advisory board is slated to give final touches to the “branding, packaging and marketing” of the finished product.
Key Board Members
He will be working in tandem with five other advisory board members to review the formulation. These members are Dr. Justin Fischedick, Dr. Joseph McSherry, Dr. Michelle Sexton, Dr. Yu Shao and Dr. Mark Wallace. They will in turn advise the company CEO Mike James and Chief Marketing Officer Jim Kras about the next steps that need to be followed in order to take the drug towards commercial sales.

In the run up to the scheduled meeting next month, Inergetics, Inc. (OTCMKTS:NRTI) CEO Mike James has gone on record to state that,
