Insider Financial recaps the day's small-cap action and covers the top stocks on our radar.
This video covers ASTS, AI, ONMD, and KIND.
Video Summary
Today's big winner was one we covered last week on this channel: ASTS +69%.Verizon will commit $100M to provide direct-to-cellular AST SpaceMobile service when needed for Verizon customers. 27% float short.
The $100M Verizon commitment includes $65M of commercial prepayments, $45M of which are subject to conditions, and $35M convertible notes.
Under the agreement, Verizon will be able to use its spectrum along with AST's satellite network to provide connectivity in remote areas of the U.S. where cellular signals are unreachable through land-based infrastructure
C3.ai (NYSE: AI) shares jumped nearly 13% in extended-hours trading on Wednesday after the enterprise software company reported fiscal fourth-quarter results and guidance for the next year that topped expectations.
ONMD news after the bell. The company entered into a non-exclusive three (3)-year Master Services Agreement (“MSA”) with an undisclosed U.S.-based medical technology company that affects more than 150 million patients worldwide annually. Insiders own 49% of the company.
Lastly, this is a longer term play, KIND. The company recently appointed Marissa Mayer, Founder/CEO of Sunshine and former President and Chief Executive Officer of Yahoo!, Niraj Shah, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of Wayfair, and Robert Hohman, Co-Founder and Chairman of Glassdoor.
I think this means KIND will either sell itself to the highest bidder or they will help grow it into another social media unicorn. The chart also is forming a long bullish base. I think KIND could trade up to $5 in 2024.
The company's current market cap is just $950 million, and it has $500 million in cash and very little debt. Insiders own 57% of the company.
Bottom Line
As we keep saying, there are always opportunities in the markets, and it’s our job to find winning stocks to trade. Huge gains can be made in such a short amount of time.
It’s essential to look for stocks that have yet to run. There are plenty of opportunities, and we look at hundreds of stocks weekly for our subscribers.
Remember, all it takes is one or two to become a winner, and you’ve crushed the market indices (and Jim Cramer) for the year.
Good luck to all (except the shorts and Cramer)!
