Changyou.Com Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:CYOU) posted a surprise Q3 profit, reported quarterly revenues below the consensus of analysts polled by Capital IQ and announced the resignation of its CEO Tao Wang. The company also declined to provide a Q4 earnings guidance. The online game developer said Non-GAAP net income attributable to Changyou.Com Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:CYOU) was $3.8 million, or $0.07 per diluted ADS, exceeding the company's guidance by $3.8 million, compared with net income of $73.2 million, or $1.37 per diluted ADRs in the year-ago period. Revenues decreased 1% year-on-year to $180.8 million, below the consensus of $188.05 million.The company also announced that Tao Wang resigned from his role as CEO due to personal reasons. The board appointed Carol Yu, President and CFO of Sohu.com (SOHU) and Dewen Chen, President of Changyou as co-CEOs of the company. Carol Yu will continue to serve as President and CFO of Sohu in addition to her new role as co-CEO. For Q4 2014, the company said it expects total revenues of between $188.0-$198.0 million. Changyou specified it cannot provide Q4 net income guidance due to uncertainties tied to the expected costs and expenses associated with the development of various mobile games.China Biologic Products Inc (NASDAQ:CBPO), a plasma-based biopharmaceutical company, said its Shandong Taibang Biological Products unit gained approval from the Hebei Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission to construct two new plasma collection stations in Hebei Province, which will cost between $6.5 million to $8.1 million to build. The new plasma collection stations will be located in Xinglong County of Chengde City and Daming County of Handan City. These two counties have a combined population of approximately one million. The company expects the two new stations to reach their annual collection capacities in three years and says they will increase its total collection capacity by approximately 10-15%. China Biologic Products Inc (NASDAQ:CBPO) is trading within a 52-week range of $26.66-62.20.Geron Corporation (NASDAQ:GERN), a biopharmaceutical company, announced the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has removed the full clinical hold on its investigational new drug (IND) application for imetelstat. The FDA has stated that Geron's proposed clinical development plan for imetelstat, focused on high-risk myeloid malignancies such as myelofibrosis, is acceptable.Geron Corporation (NASDAQ:GERN) also reported Q3 financial results, with a loss in line with Street estimates and revenues that fell short of expectations. The company reported a Q3 loss of $0.06, flat with the loss of $0.06 from the same period a year ago and in line with analyst estimates of a loss of $0.06 for the quarter. Total revenues of $160,000 were down from $181,000 for the comparable 2013 period an missed analyst projections of $240,000. Shares of GERN are trading within a 52-week range of $1.39 - $7.79.
