Amgen, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN) said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has accepted for review Amgen's Biologics License Application for evolocumab for the treatment of high cholesterol. Evolocumab is an investigational fully human monoclonal antibody that inhibits proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9, a protein that reduces the liver's ability to remove low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, or "bad" cholesterol, from the blood. Amgen, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN) trades in a 52-week range of $108.20 to $164.65.Cancer Genetics Inc (NASDAQ:CGIX) on Monday reported narrower-than-expected Q3 losses, as revenues rose on the closing of a pair of acquisitions. The cancer diagnostics specialist had a third quarter net loss of $4.8 million or $0.51 per diluted share compared with a loss of $3.1 million or $0.61 per diluted share in the third quarter of 2013. Analysts expected a loss of $0.58 per share, according to Capital IQ estimates. Cancer Genetics Inc (NASDAQ:CGIX) reported revenue of $3.22 million in the quarter, compared with $1.71 million in the same quarter last year, in line with analyst estimates. The revenue increase was driven by strong growth in clinical testing volumes and the close of two acquisitions, the company said. CGIX shares closed at $6.00 on Friday, hitting a new 52-week low.GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that it plans to sell shares worth up to $800 million. GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) is trading in the upper half of the 52-week range between $28.65 and $98.47. The maker of mountable and wearable cameras said both the company and selling stockholders are selling shares but didn't specify the number of shares sold by either. It also indicated that CEO Nicholas Woodman will sell shares but again didn't specify the amount. GoPro didn't set a price for the share sale."Our management will have broad discretion in the application of the net proceeds that we receive from this offering, including applications for working capital, possible acquisitions and other general corporate purposes, and we may spend or invest these proceeds in a way with which our stockholders disagree," GoPro said in the statement, The company said it also has no plans to declare dividends for the foreseeable future. "We expect to retain future earnings, if any, to fund the development and growth of our business," GoPro said.
