Tripadvisor Inc (NASDAQ:TRIP), a travel Web site operator, announced Q3 earnings per share that fell short of the Street view despite revenues that beat expectations. The company reported Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.48, up from $0.45 in the same period a year ago but missing analyst estimates of $0.60. Total revenues of $354 million were up from $255 million in Q3 2013 and topped analyst projections of $348.84 million for the quarter. Shares of Tripadvisor Inc (NASDAQ:TRIP) are trading within a 52-week range of $72.57 - $111.24.Chegg Inc (NYSE:CHGG), the learning platform operator reported better-than-expected Q3 results yet issued a disappointing sales outlook for Q4. The company posted a Q3 net loss of $18.1 million, or $0.22 per share, better than a loss of $24.4 million, or $1.90 per share in the year-ago period, which beat the Street forecast for a loss of $0.28 per share. Revenues climbed 32% year-on-year to $81.5 million, also topping the consensus of $78.20 million. Chegg Inc (NYSE:CHGG) said it expects Q4 revenue of between $82 million and $87 million, below the analysts' consensus of $94.7 million. "We had a great Q3 as we delivered record revenues and accelerating growth driven by our digital businesses and are very excited to announce two new partnerships for 2015," said Dan Rosensweig, chairman and CEO of Chegg, which consists of two new multi-year partnerships with Blackboard and Fanatics. In recent trade, CHGG was off 6.4% at $6.15, within a 52-week range of $4.82-$11.25.STERIS Corp (NYSE:STE) reported better-than-expected Q2 results for fiscal year 2015 ended September 30 and raised its full-year earnings outlook to the high-end of the prior guidance. Q2 adjusted net income rose to $40.6 million, or $0.68 per diluted share, from $32.6 million, or $0.55 per diluted share. Analysts were looking for EPS of $0.63 per share. Quarterly revenues rose to $462.7 million from $383.8 million in the year-ago period and topped the consensus of $452.5 million.The infection-control company reaffirmed its full-year revenue growth outlook of 15%-17% and raised its EPS guidance to $2.86-$2.91 from a prior guidance of $2.78-$2.91 versus the consensus of $2.87 per share. STERIS Corp (NYSE:STE) also announced a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share, unchanged relative to the previous dividend announcement. The dividend will be payable on Dec. 23 to shareholders of record on Nov. 26. STE shares recently traded are trading with a new 52-week range of $39.90-$62.30.
