Methanex would issue $300 million in aggregate principal amount of 4.25% senior notes due December 1, 2024 and $300 million in aggregate principal amount of 5.65% senior notes due December 1, 2044. The 2024 notes were issued at a price of 99.497% of the aggregate principal amount, with an effectual yield to maturity of 4.312%, and the 2044 notes were issued at a price of 99.353% of the aggregate principal amount, with an effectual yield to maturity of 5.695%.General Dynamics Corporation(NYSE:GD) reported that the first deal is for the design-and-build of a network of Mercury Global anchor stations priced at CDN $59.1 million. Through this network of antennas, the Department of National Defence would access the Wideband Global Satellite constellation and would be capable of supplying high speed secure communications for deployed Canadian Forces around the globe. The second contract gives ongoing in-service support and is priced at CDN $8.5 million.The center, General Electric Company(NYSE:GE)’s first in Latin America, would be a hub for appointment and collaboration with GE's customers in the region and is predicted to hire 400 researchers in the future. Honeywell's verified TFE731-40AR-3S engine was formerly selected for the development stage of the program and this deal has been prolonged to the aircraft production phase. Textron AirLand is a joint venture between Textron (TXT) and AirLand Enterprises.
