Gawk Inc (OTCMKTS:GAWK) has not been able to turn itself into a microcap runner despite growing revenues 2,393%. The company has been on an acquisition spree aiming to be a player in the VOIP/cloud computing space. It's all up to CEO Scott Kettle to deliver. If he can, shares will then be off and running.Gawk offers a suite of cloud communications, cloud connectivity, cloud computing, and managed cloud-based applications solutions to small, medium, and large businesses; and offers domestic and international voice services to communications carriers worldwide. It offers a suite of advanced data center and cloud-based services, including fault tolerant, high availability cloud servers, which comprise platform as a service, infrastructure as a service, and a content delivery network; managed network services that converge voice and data applications, structured cabling, wireless, and security services, as well as include Internet access via Ethernet or fiber at speeds ranging from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps; and data center solutions, including cloud services, colocation services, and business continuity services, such as storage and security. On June 21, the company signed a Letter of Intent to acquire the VOIP assets of Xtelus LLC, a North Carolina LLC and Xtelus S.A, a Dominica International Business Company. CEO Scott Kettle said:

"We expect to add $1 million in annual revenue by continuing to act on our growth by acquisition model, which will put Gawk at an annual revenue run rate of approximately $7 million. We are also retaining the two key members of the Xtelus executive team, who are industry-recognized experts in VOIP technology. They are powerful additions to our already strong management team. This acquisition is synergistic with the other assets we acquired with Net D Consulting and Connexum in our last fiscal year, and Web Runners in 2014."

Xtelus says that it operates an industry-leading, high performance digital network, which provides the foundation for its full array of wholesale and retail communications services. It's highly scalable, fully redundant core switching fabric supports SIP and H.323 signaling along with full support for a large range of codecs, including integrated transcoding to ensure the highest levels of flexibility and interoperability.Earlier this month, Gawk reported that the Company's revenue for the quarter increased to $1,460,653 from $58,582 for the three months ended April 30, 2016 and 2015, respectively. Gross profit was up 592%, from $58,582, to $405,620. Current assets rose by 16%, from $783,865, to $906,906. The increase in revenue was due to the Company's growth as a result of the acquisition of two businesses, Net D Consulting and Connexum, during the past year. CEO Scott Kettle said:

"GAWK has gone through a significant transformation and has expanded its business customer base and added a significant number of network facilities and points of presence expanding its geographic reach. Through these acquisitions, we acquired advanced systems and infrastructure, augmented our management team and employee base with talented, experienced, well-trained professionals, while continuing to provide a strong platform for further acquisitions."

Gawk also has a new new program for publicly traded and private businesses, under its GawkTalk technology platform. Using the Market Awareness system, notification of a client's press release will be broadcast, day and date with its public release, to shareholders and potential and actual investors, with instructions to hear the client's Voice Broadcasted Press Release. GAWK provides the call list of actual and potential investors, with integration of the client's existing NOBO list, and conforms to all call lists in the National Do Not Call database. Calls are made 15 hours a day, from the opening of public markets, at 6:00 am PT on the east coast, to 9:00 pm PT. GAWK provides a list of all numbers that reached either a busy signal or rang no answer, for which there is no cost, and schedules another call for the next day at a different time. Summary reports are emailed to the client nightly.Currently trading with a market cap of $1.4 million, GAWK is an exciting story on the OTC Markets. When you consider how fast revenues are growing and that the company has $925k in stockholder's equity, shares are indeed undervalued at current levels. We believe GAWK in an interesting situation and one which penny stock investors should put on their radar screen. We will be updating Insider Financial as soon as we know more.
